Albert Bayona


He is part of OPEN PANORÀMIC 2020 with the project Piętro 8 (8th floor).

His works have received the support for artistic creation and contemporary art from Generalitat of Catalonia, and they are part of the National Collection of Contemporary Art of this Government. They have been presented, in art spaces, such as MACRO, the Taipei Fine Artes, the La Panera Art Center in Lleida, the Jaume Morera Art Museum, the Patio Herreriano Museum, the Centro Cibeles, the MACBA auditorium, the MEIAC, Hangar, ACVIC, the Glasgow Center for Contemporary Art, the Ex-New Center for Contemporary Art in Sulbiate, the Santa Monica Center for the Arts, the Torrance Museum of Art or the Marguerida Foundation in Montferrat. His works have been present at different fairs and festivals: ARCO, Videoformes, Split International Festival, Echofluxx, LOOP Festival, Athens Digital Artes Festival, Hamaca – Museo Reina Sofía, Madatac, Muces European Film Festival, HILO Video Arte, Panoramic Open, Among others, in 1985 he won second prize at the XXIV Joan Miró International Drawing Prize with the work Variations on a Rational Aesthetics (1984) and in 2008 the audiovisual Monday to Friday (2008) won the Vasudha award for best short film on medium atmosphere to the “India-Goa International Film Festival”.
